I thought my work ethic and mentality were up to par but after hearing the sacrifices he made to get what he has I know I have some work to do. It’s basically motivation on paper and everyone who has any type of goals in mind should pick up a copy.

Road to your first million. What can I say about this great read from up and coming new author Lamar Phillips, other than this was an amazing and very informative book to add to my collection. Lamar’s book guides you in detail on how to create massive wealth. It will teach you what to do and how to do it, so you, too, can MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS.

A person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to gain is the definition you would get if you Google “Entrepreneur”, but when I think about it, Lamar Q, Phillips come to mind. I remember the day Lamar stood up in church and told the Lord he desired to own his own business and also be successful with it. Today , I’m a witness that his request that was presented , became a reality. He has been faced with many losses in life but that never stopped him. He gave when he didn’t have to give and has always been a listening ear , even when there were no ears to listen to him. There’s never been a time he was negative , but always positive. Although he didn’t have a father present due to passing away , he was still able to be a leader to people around him as a father would do. He took care of his mother all while running his business trying to reach the level of achievement he desired. He took risk and invested in his business. That’s what true entrepreneurs do. They take risk , and are not afraid of failure. Passionate , determined, dedicated, disciplined, and adapting to changes are all skills Lamar invested in himself and his business. There were many others in the same profession, that haven’t reached nearly a tenth of Lamar’s success, because a dream is just a dream if you don’t put in the work to make it become a reality. I am honored to be a friend and witness this accomplishment. Lamar wrote the vision , he waited till his season of rain came and is now living in his purpose ! Though it tarried he waited and I’m beyond happy for him. A true testament of God’s faithfulness. I love the book. It was very motivating and inspirational, especially being from the same area and growing up in the same environment. It lets you know that you can be successful coming from a small town with little to no resources.

Well a famous saying “It takes a village to raise a child” is one of the most deserving quotes that has ever been spoken. I can truly say that I have experienced many techniques used over the years to help craft a child; whether they’re young or old. Little Golden Nuggets given here and there has helped craft brilliant minds. Brilliant minds that foresee visions. Visions that produce an extraordinary image and result. I could honestly state that having this young man Lamar Q, Phillips, as part of my village over the last 12- 13 years has been a rewarding experience. He has been a wonderful and respectful young man. He’s had many struggles throughout life , but never let them triumph over him. He always had a listening ear to learn a new strategy, idea, or way of making something happen. He took the knowledge to benefit the crafting of his image. His goals were a staircase , completing one level at a time, then moving on to the next in silence. Hard work, perseverance, determination and dedication has help him become a mastermind to manifest imagery envisioned at the lowest possible level of life.
Now looking back over the years, I thank God for this child he allowed to come in my village. Whatever part I played in crafting him to become the business man he has become. Well done my Son!
